About Toby
š¾ Meet Toby! š¾
Toby is a sweet little wireāhaired Jack Russell Terrier with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging.
This charming boy has a gentle, affectionate nature and truly adores being around people.
Toby gets along beautifully with other dogs and is great with kids, making him a wonderful fit for a family home.
He thrives on companionship and would love to be included in everyday life, whether that's playtime in the yard, walks around the neighbourhood, or snuggling up after a big day.
As a true Jack Russell, Toby is clever and energetic and would do best with an active family who can provide him with plenty of love, enrichment, and mental stimulation.
He'll happily reward you with loyalty, cuddles, and endless entertainment.
If you're looking for a funāloving, affectionate little companion to share your adventures with, Toby might just be the perfect match. š
To book a meet and greet with Toby please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au .
Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.
Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
