About Odie
🐾 Meet Odie – Tiny Cavoodle, Big Personality, Professional Cuddle Expert 🐾
Odie is a 14 week old Cavoodle who currently weighs 3.5kgs
Odie entered the world in rescue after his human mum reached out for help when her family dogs litter turned out to be a surprise. Mum only had one baby – Odie – making him a little singleton.
However, Odie certainly hasn’t grown up like an only child. He has spent his whole life in foster care surrounded by other puppies and adult dogs of all ages and sizes, which means he has had fantastic socialisation right from the start.
Being the only baby of the litter has just meant one thing — he’s very used to being adored… and honestly he thinks that’s exactly how life should be.
Odie has had all his vet work completed and has been raised safely in care, ready to find his forever family.
🐶 Toilet Training & Important Puppy Business
Like all babies, toilet training is still a work in progress.
Odie’s current strategy is to sit sweetly at your feet, tilt his little head and give you those big “I am adorable and innocent” eyes… and then toddle outside to do his business on the grass like the clever boy he is.
Consistency will be key — but with a face like that he may occasionally convince you he has done absolutely nothing wrong.
He hasn’t used a doggy door yet but happily takes himself outside.
🐶 Energy Level
Odie has the perfect balance of puppy playtime and cuddle mode.
He loves:
• Playing ball
• Toys and games with his foster siblings
• Random zoomies around the house
• Followed by dramatic puppy flops for a nap.
He’s not a dog who needs hours of intense exercise — because that would cut into very important cuddle time.
He can be a little dramatic if he can’t be near his favourite person (he does like to express his feelings), but otherwise he’s a happy, chilled little boy.
🐶 Social Life
Thanks to growing up with dogs of all ages and sizes, Odie is a friendly and social little guy.
✔ Kids: Yes – he loves cuddles and playing. Due to puppy teeth and wiggles, children 6+ would be best.
✔ Dogs: Yes – he loves other dogs but prefers gentle play rather than rough wrestling.
✔ Only dog: He could be an only dog if his family is home often and includes him in daily life.
✔ Cats: Not tested, but as a young puppy he should adapt well with proper introductions.
🐶 Daily Habits
Odie sleeps wherever the classic exhausted puppy collapse happens.
He loves soft beds… but has also discovered that climbing onto the big humans bed means extra snuggles, which he fully supports.
His favourite place in the house?
Right next to his person.
As he is still completing his vaccinations, he hasn’t started lead walking or big outdoor adventures yet — but he is very excited to discover the world soon.
🐶 Personality
Odie is a sweet, sensitive little boy who forms strong bonds with his people. He loves being part of whatever is happening — whether that’s playing, exploring, or supervising household activities.
Food is definitely a motivator, and he has already mastered sitting politely and waiting for his meals like the very good boy he is.
He may occasionally try to distract you with his good looks if his toilet training isn’t perfect… but we’re pretty sure that’s just excellent puppy strategy.
🐶 Grooming
Being a Cavoodle means grooming will be a lifelong commitment. Odie has already started getting used to regular baths, brushing and little face trims to keep those adorable fluffy locks under control.
🐾 The Perfect Home
Odie would thrive in a home where he can be part of the family’s everyday life — joining in on adventures, learning new things, playing, and enjoying plenty of cuddles.
He is a loving little companion who just wants to be included, adored, and part of the action.
✨ If you’re looking for a sweet puppy who will grow into your loyal little shadow and cuddle buddy… Odie might just be your boy. 🐶💛
