About Maggie
Magic will need a calm introduction to her new home. She should start in a small "launch room" where she can settle and feel safe before gradually being allowed to explore the rest of the house, as large open spaces can feel overwhelming for her at first.
Providing plenty of safe spaces will help Magic feel secure. Scratch posts, cat trees, cozy hides like cardboard boxes or cat igloos, and access to shelves or dressers are all great additions. Having both high and low resting spots around the home will give her options to retreat, relax, and observe her surroundings comfortably.
Magic would do best with a patient and understanding adopter who knows that she may be timid in a new environment and could take a little time to show her true personality. Once she feels safe, her gentle and affectionate nature really shines.
A home with teens or older children who understand basic cat body language and know when to give her space would be ideal.
Magic especially loves gentle affection, cheek rubs, and a tasty chicken treat now and then. With time, patience, and kindness, she'll become a lovely, loyal companion.
