Elsie

Elsie is a sweet young girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. She came into the shelter after living outside and previously raising a litter of kittens of her own, so she's had quite a journey before arriving here.

When Elsie first came to the shelter she was very frightened and unsure of people. With time, patience, and gentle care, she has begun to relax and show her softer side. She's still a timid cat, but she's making lovely progress and is slowly learning to trust the people around her.

Elsie is looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. A calm environment and patient adopters will help her feel safe as she settles into indoor life.

Once she feels comfortable, Elsie has the potential to become a very rewarding companion. Watching a shy cat slowly blossom and learn to trust is a special experience, and Elsie deserves a home where she can finally relax after raising her kittens and navigating life on her own.
