Trooper – 3 Year Old Cream Kelpie 🐾

Meet Trooper, a stunning 3-year-old blonde/cream Kelpie who is ready to find his forever home 💛. Trooper has grown up on a property and has been raised around cats, poultry and other dogs. He previously lived with Fonzie the Groodle (also advertised through our facility), and through no fault of his own he is now looking for a new family.

As a working breed, Trooper will not be suited to apartment or townhouse living. He will need a home with a large, secure yard or ideally a property where he can stretch his legs and burn off some energy 🌾. Like most Kelpies, he enjoys having a job to do and thrives when he has space and activity.

In terms of training, Trooper hasn’t had much formal training yet. He has lovely manners and doesn’t jump all over people, but he is only just learning the basics like the “sit” command 🐶. With some patience, consistency and positive training, he has so much potential to grow into an incredible companion.

Trooper is very calm around the other dogs at the pound and is generally unbothered by them. He could happily live with a desexed female dog in his new home 🐕.

While he enjoys being active, he also has a soft side — when he’s relaxed he absolutely adores cuddles and human attention 🥰. He’s used to having indoor access and would love a home where he can continue to come inside and spend time with his people.

Trooper is a gentle and submissive boy who can be a little timid at first, but once he knows you, he simply loves love and affection 💕

✔ Mandatory desexing
✔ One vaccination
✔ Single dose flea and worm treatment
✔ NSW microchip and registration

Meet and greets with existing dogs in the home must be done at the pound to ensure the dogs are compatible and would live happily together.
