About Fergus
Meet Fergus, a delightful three-month-old Irish Wolfhound blend who is sure to capture your heart with his gentle nature and affectionate demeanor. With his kind eyes and friendly personality, Fergus is a dog that loves to be around people. His affectionate nature means he is happiest when he's near his human friends and is looking for a home where he will receive plenty of love and attention. Fergus is expected to be a big boy when fully grown, making him the perfect presence for those who appreciate the companionship of a big-hearted dog. Imagine him by your side on long walks, or simply lounging around in the backyard, soaking up the sun. Fergus is well suited to homes with or without another dog. He has had some exposure to children over 8 years old and should be fine in a family with dog savvy kids.
Fergus has had some basic training, which his new family must be committed to continuing. Like all puppies we encourage attending puppy school followed by obedience training to ensure they are given the tools to be the best dogs they can possibly be.

Adoption details
By adopting an animal from a rescue group or shelter you are giving a homeless animal a second chance at happiness. Thank you for considering adoption.
Our Adoption Process:
* Follow the relevant link in each animal's profile to complete the application form. Include as much information as possible so we can get an accurate picture of the life you are offering the pet.
* If your application is approved, we will email you to arrange a meet and greet.
* If the Meet and Greet is a success you will be invited to move forward with the adoption and complete the relevant paperwork.
* We offer a trial period to ensure it's a perfect match. If the animal is returned during this time, you will receive a refund subject to the terms and conditions on the Adoption Agreement signed at the time of adoption.
* Outside of the trial period we remain committed to your pet throughout its life. If your circumstances change and you need to return your pet, we will always take it back, regardless of how much time has passed.
Before completing the application form please be aware of the following:
** We are located in Bendigo, Central Victoria (approx. 2 hours from Melbourne CBD)
** If you are unable to adopt within one week of your submitting the application form please do not apply until you are ready.
** The majority of our correspondence is through email. As a small team of volunteers we simply don't have the resources to man a phone. If you fail to reply to an email or message within 24 hours we will move on to the next applicant-check your "spam/junk folder" regularly.
