Popsy

Popsy came into the shelter after being surrendered from her previous home. When she first arrived, she was extremely scared and unsure of her new surroundings, often hissing and growling at people who approached her.

With time, patience, and a consistent routine, Popsy has shown just how much she can change once she feels safe. She has settled in beautifully and is now a very friendly and affectionate cat who enjoys attention and will happily roll around for pats from the people she trusts.

Popsy is a cat with a big personality and would do best with adopters who understand that some cats need their boundaries respected. She can become overwhelmed if pushed too quickly, so she's looking for a home that will let her build trust at her own pace.

Once she feels comfortable, Popsy has plenty of love to give and enjoys interacting with her people.

Popsy would thrive in an adult-only or experienced cat home with a calm and predictable environment and people who understand cat body language and respect boundaries.

Popsy has already shown how much she can blossom with patience and understanding. In the right home, she'll make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a cat with personality and plenty of affection to share.
