Meet Max Jnr 🐾
Max is as quiet as a mouse. He doesn’t meow like the others, instead he makes the softest little squeak… and then turns on a purr so loud it completely makes up for it.
Max is the definition of a snuggle bug. He loves curling up close and will happily nestle in with you on the bed at night, purring himself to sleep right by your side. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate little companion, he is going to steal your heart.
He shares a special bond with his sister Pearl, and the two of them make a beautiful pair if you’re open to adopting siblings. They play, cuddle, and keep each other company in the sweetest way. That said, Max would also settle in well with another friendly cat or into a loving home on his own.
Max was rescued from a farm, where his future was uncertain. Now he’s safe, warm, and ready for a home where he will never have to worry again. He doesn’t care for the outdoors and is happiest inside, especially if there’s a cozy bed and a human to snuggle. He has been around dogs, although he hasn’t had much socialisation with them, and he gets along well with other cats.
Max has already been given his second chance. Now he’s waiting for someone to give him his forever one.

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
