About Billie
Billie has spent her life giving to others. Now it is finally her turn to be loved.
This beautiful almost 7 year old pure miniature poodle was used for breeding, raising litter after litter. Somewhere along the way she never got the chance to simply be someone’s cherished little companion. That is all Billie wants now.
Billie is the sweetest little soul. She will happily curl up on your lap and look up at you with the softest, most loving eyes. She is calm, gentle and incredibly affectionate. The kind of dog who quietly follows you from room to room because being near her person is where she feels happiest.
She walks nicely on lead, is toilet trained, and has lovely manners. Billie is wonderful with other dogs, fine with cats, and she absolutely adores children. She truly has the kindest nature.
Billie has had DNA testing done and the results come with her. No issues were identified on her DNA profile. She does have a grade 3 and grade 2 luxating patella, which is not unusual and she is doing very well for her age. Her teeth are in great condition, though she may benefit from a dental clean sometime in the next year.
What Billie needs most is not perfection. She needs kindness. A warm lap. A family who will look at her and see the little dog who has already given so much and deserves the world in return.
Her breeding days are over. Her new life is ready to begin.

*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
