Beki, the frightened kitten turned love bug

Beki is a gentle, sensitive kitten who has come a long way since arriving at the shelter scared and all alone. When she first came into care, she was absolutely terrified and likely hadn't had many interactions with people. Thanks to the patience and kindness of her foster home, Beki has made incredible progress and is learning that humans can be wonderful company. While she is still building confidence, she now seeks out affection on her own terms, loves to play, and will do just about anything for a creamy paste treat. She also has a thing for licking your toes, yep, she's a cute little wierdo.

Having other kittens in her foster home has made a huge difference for Beki. She watched her feline friends closely and learned from them that people can be safe and fun to be around. With slow, thoughtful introductions, she has really enjoyed having other kitten companions to play with and would likely do well in a home with another friendly, confident cat to help guide her.

Beki can still feel worried at times, especially in new situations or around unfamiliar people. When she feels scared, she may hiss or run away, but this is simply her way of asking for space while she works things out. With patience, positive reinforcement, and a calm environment, Beki continues to thrive and show her affectionate, playful personality.

Beki is looking for a quiet, understanding home with people who are happy to go at her pace while she settles in and builds trust. She may always be a slightly anxious girl when faced with new things, but for the right family, she will be a deeply loving, loyal companion who forms a very special bond with her people...and their feet.
