About Cyprus
Cyprus - Big Paws, Big Personality
Cyprus is an all go, then crash kind of puppy. One minute he is bouncing around starting play sessions with his sister, the next he is flopped on a blanket having a well-earned rest. He is definitely not a morning person and if he decides he is not moving, he will happily lie down right where he is.
Currently in foster care with a loving family, Cyprus is showing more of his personality every day. He is the main instigator of playtime, often launching sneak attacks on his sister and flipping onto his back mid-wrestle. He is also learning that if he pushes her too far she will happily chase him back.
Cyprus loves cuddly blankets and soft squeaky toys, although he is just as happy stealing whatever his sister happens to be playing with. A good stick is also very hard for him to resist.
Meal times are serious business for Cyprus. He has a big appetite but takes his time eating. Like many curious puppies he explores the world with little nibbles and licks and also enjoys splashing around when his water bowl is full.
He is still learning the basics like climbing on the couch and letting his foster family know when he wants to head outside, but he is growing and learning every day.
Cyprus has already been treated as a precaution for suspected Ehrlichia canis (E. canis) and is doing well.
With his massive paws and slightly oversized head, we suspect Cyprus may grow into quite a big boy.
Cyprus is being raised in foster care, which means we know his personality and needs well. If you would like to meet this playful pup, simply send through an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
