About Coco
Coco, A Little Island of Sweetness
Named after the island, Coco may be small, but she has a big personality and just the right amount of sass.
Coco is a confident, affectionate girl who loves people, playtime and a good cuddle. She is a social butterfly at the dog park and seems to become best friends with everyone she meets. She will play as though her energy is endless, then settle in for a big sleep, ideally curled up on top of one of her humans or beside a dog friend.
She would be well suited to a home with another friendly dog who enjoys playing and relaxing together. Coco is well-behaved, stays close to her people and responds to familiar commands and instructions. She does have a wonderfully cheeky side, especially when she wants attention, and she is very good at finding a way to make sure she gets it!
Coco is loving, playful and full of character. She quickly makes herself part of the family and enjoys being involved in whatever her people are doing.
Coco is currently in foster care with a loving family, which means we have had the opportunity to learn about her personality, routines and needs. SAFE does not have a shelter you can visit, but Coco can still be met easily. Simply send through an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet with this gorgeous girl.

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
