Capri - Little Island Explorer

Just like the beautiful island she is named after, Capri brings sunshine and charm wherever she goes.

This sweet little puppy is full of curiosity and playful energy. Capri loves exploring the world around her, whether that is investigating a new toy, following her humans around the house, or tumbling around with her siblings. When the adventures are over, she is more than happy to curl up for some cuddles and recharge.

Capri is currently in foster care with a loving family, which means we are already getting to know her personality and what makes her little tail wag. Like all puppies, she will benefit from ongoing training, guidance and plenty of positive experiences as she grows.

As a precaution, Capri is currently being treated for suspected Ehrlichia canis (a tick borne disease sometimes seen in dogs from northern regions). She is doing well, showing no concerning symptoms, and treatment will be completed while she is in care. Our team is happy to discuss this further with interested adopters.

Capri is in foster care and can be met by submitting an adoption application. Once we receive your application, we can arrange a meet and greet.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
