Hi, I’m Betty 🐾
I’m a gentle, loyal girl looking for my forever home. I’ll be turning five this year — a Christmas baby 🎄 — and after spending my early years racing, I’m more than ready for the quieter life.
My favourite thing in the world is being with my humans. I’m very affectionate and attentive, and if you let me, I’ll happily lean on you or keep a paw touching you. Being close to my people makes me feel safe and happy.
I enjoy going for walks and getting out to stretch my legs, but I’m just as happy relaxing once I’m home. I walk beautifully on a lead and have been practising my manners, including calmly crossing roads and learning all the everyday things that come with pet life.
I’ve been tested with kids and seem to do really well with them. I’m gentle and calm around little humans, which makes me a lovely family companion.
I’ve also lived with older people both in the past and currently, so I understand how to be calm, quiet, and respectful in the home.
While I adore being with my people, I can also settle nicely when you’re out and will happily snooze until you come home.

Adoption details
All animals adopted from Goulburn Valley Pet Adoption & Rehoming come with a 1 month trial period. This trial period is to ensure your new family member has enough time to settle into their new environment, and you can both be sure it's the right fit. During this time, do not hesitate to get in contact with us if there are any issues, concerns or questions. If for whatever reason, you decide during the trial period that it's not the right fit, get in contact with us and we will take the animal back into our care, and your adoption fee will be refunded to you. Also, if at anytime during the course of your pets life, you are unable to care for them anymore, we will happily welcome them back.
