🐾 Meet Haru — The Gentle, Quiet Observer

Haru is the softer, more sensitive brother to Umi. Haru is a sweet soul who started out hiding under the sofa, watching Umi play from a safe distance. With patience and kindness, he has begun to come out of his shell, and his progress has been beautiful to watch.

🌿 Personality
Haru is gentle, thoughtful and cautious. He takes his time to feel safe, but once he does, his affectionate nature shines through.

💛 Affection
Haru enjoys tummy rubs too, and he has a very cute habit — he likes to lick human fingers! It’s his way of showing trust and connection.

🍽️ Habits
Haru is a slow, polite eater. He’s smaller and skinnier than Umi, so he benefits from extra food and a bit of protection during mealtimes to make sure he gets his share.

🎾 Play Style
He’s not as bold as Umi, but he enjoys gentle play and watching the world around him. As his confidence grows, his playful side is emerging more each day.

🐱 Social Skills
Haru has made huge progress. He now comes out from hiding, relaxes in the open and even slept with his foster carer and the other cats. He’s learning that the world is safe.
