🐾 Three months in foster care and ready for a home to call his own
Umi is the more confident brother to Haru — a sweet, cheeky boy bursting with kitten energy who is learning to trust humans more every day. He may still dart away if you move too quickly, but his curiosity always wins and brings him right back out for food, play and affection.

Personality
Umi is active, playful and full of life. He's still building confidence around people, but he's already showing just how much he wants to connect. Three months with his foster carer have brought out a bolder, happier version of himself — and he's only getting better.

Affection
Once he feels safe, Umi is an absolute cuddle bug. He loves chin scratches and tummy rubs and will actively ask for more when you stop. His affectionate side has blossomed beautifully over his time in foster care, and the right home will get to enjoy all of it.

Play Style
Umi is always first to jump into playtime. Strings, toys, anything that moves — he's ready and waiting. Confident, cheeky and endlessly entertaining, he's the kind of cat who will keep you laughing every single day.

Habits
Umi loves his food and eats with great enthusiasm — so much so that he'll happily try to sneak Haru's dinner if given the chance. Mealtimes need a little supervision, but honestly it's hard to be annoyed when he's that cute about it.

Social Skills
Umi is comfortable and relaxed around other cats and has slept happily alongside his foster carer's cats. He's growing more settled and confident every day — and he's been learning tricks in foster care too, which shows just how switched on and eager to engage he really is.

A Note About Umi and Haru
Umi and Haru are a bonded pair and we would love to see them go to a home together as they bring out the best in each other, and having his brother by his side has been a big part of Umi's confidence growing the way it has.
