About Kitty Purry
Hello. My name is Kitty Purry.
All my life I lived with my sister and brother. They have both been adopted now, and I am finding my own way. My days are filled with quiet games, food, naps, and short cuddles with my foster mum. Not too long though. I always seem to have somewhere else to be.
I am a gentle and thoughtful girl. I do not hide from new people. I just take my time. I will approach slowly, and if there is a soft pat or a chin scratch waiting for me, I am very happy. If there are treats involved, well… that human becomes very important to me.
I am very polite. I have excellent litter habits and I have never hissed or scratched.
I have a quiet little personality that has really started to shine. When I first arrived, I was unsure and kept to myself. Now I follow my foster mum around the house, curious about everything she is doing. I like to be nearby. Not always in your lap, but always part of your world.
I love a good pat and a gentle chin scratch. They are the best. Butt scratches, however, are absolutely not allowed. I will politely decline every time.
My purr is very soft. You will need to hold me close to hear it, but it is there. A quiet little rumble, just for you.
I do not really meow. My whole vocabulary is a soft little “meh”. In the mornings, as soon as my foster mum stirs, I greet her with it. Just a gentle “meh” to say good morning, followed by a proper pat session before breakfast. It is one of my favourite parts of the day.
Dogs do not worry me as long as they are calm and kind. I live with a dog friend now. She is older and prefers a quiet life, but I do enjoy walking past her for a little smooch. I would be happy as an only cat, but I would also enjoy a gentle and playful companion.
One of my favourite places in the world is somewhere up high. If there is a shelf, a cat tower, or a bench I can reach, I will climb up and quietly watch everything below. I like to know what is happening. I like to know where my human is.
There is a warm and loving nature inside me. I just need a patient family who will give me the time to settle. With kindness and gentle encouragement, I will continue to grow into a playful, affectionate companion who will quietly follow you, sit beside you, and become part of your everyday life.
