Named after the beloved Gingerbread Man from Shrek, our Gingy is every bit as sweet — and maybe even more talented! This amazing boy is an expert biscuit maker who can knead anywhere: in your lap, in the air, upside down, or mid-cuddle. If there were a Great British Bake Off for cats, Gingy would win every episode!
But it’s not just his biscuit-making that will melt your heart — it’s his boundless affection. Gingy loves cuddles, craves attention, and wants nothing more than to be your best friend and partner in crime. Whether you’re watching TV, working from home, or just hanging out, he’ll be right there by your side, ready to sprinkle love (and a few biscuit sessions) into every moment.
Gingy is wonderfully social — he gets along beautifully with other animals and thrives when surrounded by companionship and friendship.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
