Waffles is the cat equivalent of a Sunday morning — soft, calm, and full of love. With his gentle purrs and sleepy smiles, this laid-back sweetheart is happiest when he’s curled up somewhere warm, soaking in the love (and maybe plotting how to earn his next treat).
Don’t let his relaxed vibe fool you — Waffles is also wonderfully affectionate. He’ll shuffle over for cuddles, nuzzle into your hand, and remind you that the best kind of love is quiet and constant. Whether he’s snoozing in a sunny patch or melting into your lap, Waffles radiates the kind of peace that makes a house feel like home.
Of course, his heart is just as big as his appetite for treats! He thrives with other cats who share his gentle nature and love of cozy companionship, so he’s hoping for a home with a feline friend to cuddle up beside.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
