Toast is that rare blend of confident explorer and gentle nurturer — the kind of cat who’ll greet you with a chirp, check every room for fun, and then make sure all her feline friends are cozy and happy. She’s a natural “big sister” — full of love, patience, and charm, especially when it comes to her cat companions.
This social butterfly thrives around other cats and people alike, always ready for a friendly nose boop or a mutual grooming session. When she’s not busy being a role model, you’ll find her exploring new hideouts, investigating mysterious cupboard corners, or keeping an eye on the action from her favorite perch.
Toast is looking for her perfect family — one that understands her big-hearted, social spirit and has another cat friend to share her adventures with. If your home needs a dash of warmth, kindness, and a touch of curiosity, Toast (and her gentle leadership) are ready to brighten your world. ☀️

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
