About Bear
Bear was a lost boy roaming the streets until he was taken into care. 🥲 He is a 2-year-old pug cross (probably a staffy).
He has a beautiful loyal nature. He suffers a little from separation anxiety so he would like a desexed fur friend for company.
Bear loves learning through training and he will need a person that is willing to continue with it. He will sit and wait for his food and his recall is good. ✅
However Bear loves a good run, so taking him to an enclosed sports park or on a hiking trail would be perfect for him. He is also great at walking on lead and is receptive to commands. He is very eager to learn and please his human.🐾
Bear has been tested on older children (over 13 years of age). He has spent time in foster care with other dogs and has been socialised with other dogs when exercising and at the park. He loves to play with toys or the recycling and will try to get his fur friends to join me. 🤣
Bear needs someone who is home a lot and has time to spend with him. He does have some separation anxiety so having another desexed fur friend is important for him.
You will need a well fenced yard as he can jump quite high.
He does get very excited especially at meal times and when going in the car and he loves to talk to you and tell you to hurry up as he knows that he is going to get something nice😊
After a big walk or play, he is happy be a cuddle bug with you on the couch. At nighttime he must be close to his human so he will sleep right next to you if possible on your bed.
He has had all vaccinations and desexing completed.
If you think that Bear could complete your family, please provide as much information as you can in the application form below. He is only available for adoption in SA and only that shortlisted will be contacted.
