About Lykia
Introducing Lykia, a lovely little lass with a heart of gold. This girl loves people and will follow you around as you go about the house then lie quietly at your feet when you are resting - although she also likes to be on your lap getting a pat and cuddle. Lykia is a loving companion dog and she couldn’t be sweeter.
Miss Lykia is a small dog and weighs about 7 kilograms. Her fur is as soft as silk, and her bushy tail is constantly wagging. She requires some grooming but little more than a fringe cut and some brushing which she loves; Miss L also behaves perfectly when getting a bath. At twelve years of age, Lykia has a lot to offer the right household as she has a zest for life and is an active and alert girl. She has the energy and enthusiasm of a dog half her age.
Lykia is a no fuss girl and eats a variety of food and is fully toilet trained. She is currently fostered with 3 other dogs, male and female, and gets along well with all of them and really loves to play with them. However, she would also be happy as an only dog for some on who is home most of the time. Lykia barks if a stranger approaches the house and comes to you to let you know. But essentially, she is very relaxed and has a happy disposition.
Lykia absolutely loves going for walks and walks gently on a loose lead. Although she loves exploring the garden, Lykia is predominantly an inside dog and not one to be left alone in the yard for long periods; she needs to be included in family life as she is very gregarious and loves pleasing her people. In summary, this little girl is affectionate, loyal and a marvellous companion dog. To know Lykia is to love her.
