About Chad
đŸ Meet Chad!
Blueâroan cattle dog, 3 years old, big heart, bigger waistline, ready for a glowâup!
Chad has spent his whole life as a backyard dog, so the world is all new to him - walks, adventures, indoor life, training... he's learning it all for the first time. He's currently very overweight, but with sensible feeding and regular exercise, he'll slim down beautifully over the next few months.
Despite his size, Chad is a total hunk of love. He adores people, enjoys hanging out, and sometimes gets a burst of enthusiasm for a game of ball (stamina pending). Being a cattle dog, he also likes to alert you to any "important" changes in his environment - he takes his selfâappointed security role very seriously.
Under the padding, Chad is still a working breed: smart, problemâsolving, peopleâoriented, and happiest when he's involved in whatever you're doing - car rides, sniffari outings, gentle adventures, you name it.
Because he grew up with minimal guidance, he has few manners and can initially be strong on the lead, but he's highly trainable and responds beautifully to patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement.
đ¶ Could live with another dog after a successful meet & greet
đĄ Needs time, structure, and someone who understands working breeds
đ Sweet, loyal, eager to learn - a wonderful companion in the making
If you love a clever, cuddly project dog with loads of potential, Chad is your boy.
