About Boofhead
Meet Boofhead, a super friendly and affectionate boy with a big personality. Fearless and playful, this cuddly boy has an unmistakable charisma, winning the hearts of everyone who meets him.
Boofhead loves human company and will follow you around the house as your loyal best friend. He’ll nudge or headbutt you to politely ask for pats or treats (as he’s very food motivated) and always enjoys having a chat. Boofhead loves being brushed, patted and is getting used to being picked up and cuddled.
When he’s not seeking affection, Boofhead loves to chase toys, explore his environment and play with other cats. Because of his playful nature and size, he would be best suited for a home with older children or another cat that can handle his enthusiastic playing style. He also gets along fine with small and medium-sized dogs.
Boofhead knows how to use automatic litter trays and standard litter trays, but isn't a fan of top entry only litter trays due to his size. As Boofhead is a rescue, he needs a loving, indoor-only home.
Due to his recent weight gain, we're open to foster-to-adopt arrangements to ensure he is supported during his current weight loss journey.
Medical notes
Boofhead recently gained a significant amount of weight from over-eating. He's now on a diet to get his weight back down to a normal level. He also had gingivitis which has been treated.

Adoption details
We have a very thorough adoption application and process. This is to ensure the best homes for our rescues who have had a rough time on the streets of Sydney or have been abandoned by their previous humans. Our priority is to keep them from further trauma or mistreatment.
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Complete an adoption form at https://form.jotform.com/210689154188060
2. Phone interview with adoption coordinator
3. Meet and greet with your selected cat/kitten at your home
4. Adoption trial (2 week period)
5. Confirm adoption and complete microchip transfer
