About Pyro
Meet Pyro! A playful little white and black boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Pyro was rescued at just 2 weeks old from a situation where he wasn’t being properly cared for. He was skin and bone and suffering from severe flea anaemia. After receiving veterinary care, regular bottle feeds, and plenty of TLC, he has made an incredible transformation. Pyro is now healthy, thriving, and ready to find his forever home. Pyro absolutely loves to play and is always up for a game or a wrestling match. He gets along beautifully with the other cats in his foster home and especially enjoys playing and tumbling around with the friendly dog he has grown up with. He has the most adorable little meow and isn’t shy about using it — particularly when dinner is being served! When playtime is over, Pyro loves curling up with his humans for snuggles and will happily purr himself to sleep. He also takes his “household duties” very seriously and loves to “help” when the litter box is being scooped. Pyro would make a wonderful addition to a loving family looking for a fun, affectionate, and resilient little companion. Pyro will need to remain indoors to keep him safe from outdoor dangers! If you would like to meet Pyro, please speak with the friendly team at PETstock Tuggerah!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
