Nancy & Violet - In foster care in Avondale Height

Nancy and Violet are bonded sisters who have shared five beautiful years together and must be rehomed as a pair. Nancy is the bigger of the two and the confident, playful adventurer. She’ll happily flop at your feet for a tummy rub and absolutely thrives on affection. Curious and social, she enjoys spending time both indoors and outdoors and isn’t shy about letting you know what she wants — she’ll scratch at the door when she’s ready to come in or head out. Nancy handles children fairly well and loves being part of the action.

Violet, the smaller sister, is a gentle and timid soul with the most gorgeous squishy face. She feels safest in calm, predictable environments and prefers sunbathing in a secure courtyard rather than venturing too far. Violet takes time to adjust to new surroundings and people, and she startles easily, so slow and gentle movements help her feel secure. She isn’t suited to homes with children or other animals. While she may seem reserved at first, she will come to you — on her terms — once she feels safe.

These girls are deeply bonded and seek comfort in one another, often sleeping cuddled together. Violet looks to Nancy for reassurance, and they truly are happiest side by side. They deserve a loving home that understands their different personalities and can give them the patience, affection, and stability they both need to thrive.
