About Otis
OTIS — A True Blue Aussie Mate 🇦🇺🐾
Born on 25 April 2025 (ANZAC Day), Otis could hardly be more Australian. A proud Bull Arab, he comes from a uniquely Aussie mix originally developed for working dogs in rural Australia. Bull Arabs are typically a blend of Bull Terrier, Greyhound and German Shorthaired Pointer, bred for strength, stamina and intelligence — and Otis has inherited the very best of those qualities.
Currently 25 kg and still growing, Otis is a handsome dark chocolate and white boy who has been thriving with his devoted foster family on country acreage.
This lovely lad has a temperament that’s hard to beat:
🐾 Wonderful with children, even little ones
🐾 Great with other dogs and cats
🐾 Absolutely adores humans
🐾 Completely unfazed by horses
🐾 Gentle, affectionate and eager to please
Otis is also house-trained and very people-focused. He’s an intelligent young dog who loves to learn and is keen to please, making him a fantastic prospect for a family or anyone who wants a loyal and loving companion.
Because Otis lives on acreage with his foster family, he hasn’t needed to do much lead walking yet, as he gets plenty of exercise exploring the property. However, with his willingness to learn and love of people, he should pick up leash skills quickly with a little guidance.
As you can probably tell from his photos, Otis is also perfectly comfortable lounging about with his people. His exercise needs are moderate at best, and he’s just as happy relaxing nearby as he is pottering around the yard.
Now, full disclosure — Otis can climb a fence. But here’s the funny part: he doesn’t go anywhere when he does. He simply climbs back over again because he loves being with his family and has no interest in roaming. It’s less “great escape” and more “just checking the perimeter.”
Otis would make a wonderful family dog or loyal companion. With his sweet nature, easy temperament and devotion to his people, there’s really nothing not to love about this gorgeous boy.
If you’re looking for a true blue Aussie dog with a heart of gold, Otis might just be your perfect match.
