About Poppi
Meet Poppi 🧡
Poppi is a beautiful ginger girl with a gentle nature and a big love for comfort and companionship. Her favourite place in the world is a cosy bed, where she can stretch out, relax, and keep her humans company. If you're settling in for a quiet evening, Poppi will happily be right there beside you.
She absolutely adores being brushed and massaged. A few soft strokes with a brush or a gentle head rub will quickly bring out her contented purrs. It's one of her favourite ways to bond and relax.
Poppi may take a little time to settle into a brand-new environment, but once she feels safe, her affectionate personality really shines. She enjoys hanging out near people and being part of the household's daily life, whether that's lounging nearby or quietly supervising what you're doing.
She has previously spent some time living with a dog and handled it well, so she would likely be happy sharing her new home with a calm canine companion.
If you're looking for a sweet, relaxed cat who loves cosy spaces, gentle pampering, and being around her people, Poppi could be the perfect addition to your home. 🐾

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
