Hakuna Matata! If you’re looking for a kitten who knows how to live life to the fullest, meet Pumbaa. He is a wonderful mix of high-speed adventure and deep, purring affection—the ultimate "all-rounder" kitten!
🌟 Personality & Charms
Pumbaa is an energetic king who takes his playtime very seriously. While he likes to observe first, once his siblings start the fun, he is right there following them into the fray! He is a confident boy who isn't easily rattled by loud noises or fast movements.
Energy Level: Medium (The perfect balance of zoomies and naps! ⚖️)
King of the Hill: You’ll usually find him at the very top of the cat tree, surveying his kingdom from above. 🌳🏰
The Zoomie Master: He loves a good sprint around the house and is a pro at climbing.
Top-Tier Toys: Just like his brother Mufasa, he can’t resist a ball with a bell in it. 🔔🎾

When the "zooms" are over, Pumbaa transforms into a total cuddle bug. He has a motor that doesn't quit—he’s a big purrer who will let you know exactly how happy he is!

The Snuggle Factor: He loves to settle in for a good snuggle once he's tuckered out from his climbing expeditions.
🏡 Pumbaa’s Perfect Match
Pumbaa is a social boy who needs a "buddy" to keep his life worry-free. He cannot be a solo cat. 👯♂️
His ideal home is one with heaps of toys and tall cat trees to satisfy his love for climbing. He needs a home with another friendly cat or a sibling to play with so he always has a companion to follow into his next big adventure.
If you have a cat tree with a view and plenty of chin scratches to give, Pumbaa is ready to move in! 🐗💖

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
