Don't let the name intimidate you—while he’s named after royalty, Mufasa is a gentle, soulful boy who is as sweet as they come. He is a stunning kitten who prefers to take in the world at his own pace, making him a truly delightful companion.

Mufasa is the quiet observer of his litter. While his siblings might go charging in head-first, Mufasa likes to "tag along" behind them, watching their antics before joining in on the fun. He is confident and full of personality, but with a much mellower vibe than your average zoomie-obsessed kitten!

Mufasa is looking for a kingdom of his own—ideally a home with a solo person or a family who has a friendly resident cat or is willing to adopt him with one of his siblings. 👯♂️
He is a "people cat" who will play hard and then seek you out to find a cosy spot nearby for a nap. If you have a sunny window and plenty of neck scratches to give, Mufasa is ready to be the new king of your heart! 👑🧡

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
