🐶 Meet Tess – A Sweet and Gentle Companion 👑

Tess is a gentle, affectionate little dog with a soft and loving nature. She enjoys the company of other dogs and often follows their lead — whether it’s exploring, sniffing around the garden, or heading out for a walk. She’s playful with dog friends but also perfectly happy relaxing during the day with a chew toy or a shady spot to nap.

Tess has settled in beautifully in her foster home, and it’s clear she’s had a great foundation. She walks wonderfully on lead without pulling, knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and stay, and has some recall as well. Out on walks, she shows interest in people, dogs, bikes, and kids, but is able to stay focused and calmly move past without any fuss — such a clever girl.

She’s very treat motivated and fully toilet trained, making her an easy addition to the home. Around the house, Tess is incredibly cuddly and loves to follow her people from room to room, just happy to be close by.

Tess does have a slightly cheeky side — if left alone outside all day, she may dig or chew a little out of boredom, but nothing major. She would do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long periods and can enjoy companionship, enrichment, and regular outings.

She can still be a little sensitive in new situations, but she is eager to please and responds beautifully to gentle guidance. Tess also has a sensitive tummy, so she will need a home that can continue working out the best diet for her.

With her sweet temperament, good manners, and loving personality, Tess is a beautiful little dog who will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, affectionate addition to their life. 🐾💛

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
