🐶 Meet Rudy – The Quiet Little Gentleman 🐾

Rudy is a shy and gentle boy who takes a little time to feel safe, but once he does, his sweet personality truly shines. He can be a bit timid around new people, especially men, and may take longer to warm up — but with patience and kindness, he gradually builds trust. Around women he feels comfortable with, Rudy becomes a very snuggly little lap dog who loves being close to his person.

Rudy is a calm and quiet companion. In fact, the only sound his foster carer has heard from him so far is the occasional noisy yawn! He loves to gently nudge you with his nose when he wants attention, and when he gets excited he does the cutest little “tippy taps” with his feet. He also gets the most adorable random zoomies when he’s feeling happy.

He’s slowly gaining confidence around his foster dog sisters and has started exploring the yard more bravely. Rudy isn’t particularly food motivated, but he is doing well with his toileting and can sleep through the night without needing to go out, with only the occasional accident indoors as he continues learning.

Rudy would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace. With the right person, he will be the most loyal, gentle, and loving little companion. 💛🐾

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
