Bruce is the quintessential husky best friend- the perfect mix of husky personality whilst still being well mannered and a joy to have around!
On meeting new dogs, Bruce is great at taking cues from his playmates. If the dog isn't interested he will happily coexist, but if they want to play, game on! When he's had enough Bruce is very clear- he let's out a big bark to say he's done. He has never showed any aggression to any dog and is quite confident just using his voice. He happily shares the couch, a bed, and toys with other dogs and is not food aggressive. He will happily sit with other dogs nearby and wait for his turn. He is living with six other dogs of both sexes but let's be honest, he's a bit of ladies man!
Bruce enjoys waking you up by staring directly into your eyes- when you wake, you are greeted by his bi eyes a few centimetres from your face! If you're lucky, you may even get a kiss. Other than that Bruce is happy to sleep wherever he lays- whether that be the floor, a dog bed, or next to you on the couch.
Bruce is quite calm for a husky, and knows not to jump up at visitors or when you get home (with a gentle reminder sometimes). He walks well on leash and for the most part after initial excitement will walk loose leash! He has visited the Cafe with his foster carer and was a gentleman!
Bruce is great in the car and settles laying down quite quickly. He was extremely well behaved at the vet and a staff favourite! He would be fine with children large enough not to be knocked over, but will need work on not taking food out of little hands! He is very gentle but doesnt quite understand not everything on his level is meant for sharing. Due to his typical husky prey drive no cats or pocket pets.

Once we have received your application our team will respond as soon as possible - Replies can take up to two weeks.
It is a requirement for suitable applicants to agree to have yard inspection arranged by one of our team at a mutually agreed time.
