About Willow & Chico
Meet Willow & Chico – The Sweetest Mother & Daughter Duo 🐾
If you’re looking for two gentle, loving companions, Willow and Chico might just be your perfect match. These beautiful girls are a bonded pair who adore each other and are searching for a home where they can stay together.
Willow (10 years) is the confident, affectionate sweetheart of the pair. She has the most adorable personality and absolutely loves human attention. Willow enjoys belly rubs, a pat under the chin, scratches behind the ears, and of course her favourite treats and dental chews. She’s very social and enjoys saying hello to other dogs on walks before happily continuing on her way.
Willow does have an old ligament injury in her left knee, which can sometimes make her a little sore after long walks or beach adventures on soft sand. She simply takes a joint supplement (Biota orientalis drops in her meals) and may need a bit of extra rest after big outings. Despite this, she still loves her walks, beach trips, and car adventures and enjoys life to the fullest.
Chico (4 years) is Willow’s daughter and her devoted little shadow. She is gentle and slightly more timid at first, often letting Willow lead the way until she feels comfortable. Once she warms up (which doesn’t take long), Chico becomes the sweetest, most affectionate little snuggle bug. She loves curling up on the couch, basking in the sunshine, or burrowing under a big pile of blankets.
Chico enjoys playing with her favourite “Hedgey” toy, chasing it when you hide and throw it, and occasionally playing with a ball or rope toy. She also enjoys a lap cuddle and gentle ear or snout scratches.
Together, Willow and Chico are inseparable best friends. They travel beautifully in the car and absolutely love adventures, whether it’s heading out for a walk, visiting the beach, or going for a drive.
Their Highlights:
• Bonded mother & daughter pair – must be adopted together
• Wonderful with children of all ages
• House trained and use a dog door
• Quiet, well-behaved indoor dogs
• Great recall and come when called
• Willow can sit and shake hands
• Chico can sit and spin for treats
• Both are food motivated and love dental chews
• Good with chickens, though Willow will chase cats and skinks
On walks, Willow is happy to greet other dogs and have a quick sniff hello. Chico is a little more cautious and prefers to approach dogs in her own time, especially smaller dogs.
Willow and Chico are looking for a loving home where they can continue their adventures together, enjoy cuddles on the couch, sunny naps, and plenty of affection.
Adopting Willow & Chico means gaining two loyal companions who will fill your home with love, gentleness, and plenty of snuggles
They are in care in Berkeley Vale, NSW. The adoption fee is $1100 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
