Meet Baxy 🐾

Baxy is a friendly, cuddly sweetheart with a big love for life (and snacks). He gets along well with both big and small dogs and would enjoy having a doggy mate, though he’ll also do just fine as your one-and-only. He hasn’t met cats or other animals yet, so those introductions would need to be gradual. He’s great with kids aged 3 and up and has a gentle, loving nature.

Baxy would ideally love a home where someone is around often, but he can manage being left during work hours. A home with a yard would suit him best, and preferably with higher fences. He’s medium energy — happy to enjoy his walks and adventures, then come home and claim the softest, fluffiest bed in the house. (Bonus points if there’s a car ride involved — he loves those.)

He knows his basics like sit and stay, walks fairly well on leash (though he might get a little excited spotting another dog), and is mostly friendly when meeting new dog pals. He’s not much of a jumper, is very food motivated, and has a high ability to learn — so a little ongoing training will go a long way.

Personality-wise, Baxy is mostly a couch potato with a PhD in cuddles. He loves giving hugs, soaking up affection, and being close to his people. He’s clever, friendly, not stubborn, and very easy to love.
