About Cookie
Meet Cookie, a sweet Pomeranian mix with a gentle soul, in search of a loving and patient new family. Cookie is just over four years old and weighs 8.6 kg, and her fluffy coat and petite size make her absolutely adorable. Though shy by nature, she has the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion with a bit of guidance and affection.
Cookie loves peaceful environments where she can gradually build her confidence. She enjoys the company of dogs her size and would do well in a home where she can socialize at her own pace. She has not yet been tested with cats, so giving her time to adjust to new surroundings is key.
Cookie is a fan of tender pats and enjoys basking in the warmth of a gentle hand. While this charming little fluff ball has a penchant for doing her own thing, with a bit of dedicated lead training, she will soon enjoy delightful walks with you. Her beautiful fluffy coat will require regular grooming to ensure she maintains her pristine, adorable appearance.
Cookie's perfect home would be a quiet sanctuary filled with patience and love to help her develop confidence. Her sweetness and calm nature will bring serenity and joy to your family. Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
