About Sushi SUA014686
Sushi is a beautiful lady with a soft heart who is searching for a calm and understanding home where she can truly feel safe. A little bit of a nervous nelly, Sushi finds the world overwhelming at times, so she’ll need a very quiet environment with a predictable routine to help her feel secure.
For Sushi, the perfect home is one without any hustle and bustle — no children, dogs, or other cats. She’s looking for a peaceful space where it’s just her and her person, allowing her to settle in at her own pace and build trust in her own time.
Despite her shy nature, Sushi is an incredibly sweet girl. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her gentle and loving personality begins to shine through. With patience, kindness, and a calm environment, Sushi will slowly blossom into a devoted companion.
Her ideal human will understand that time and patience are key. Giving Sushi the space she needs to adjust will allow her to relax and discover that she is truly safe and loved.
If you have a quiet home and a kind heart ready to help a sensitive cat find her confidence, Sushi may be the perfect companion for you.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
