Darcy is a true Independent Explorer. He loves to set off on little missions around the house, discovering new corners and toys, but he always circles back to his favorite people for some quality time.
The Affectionate Adventurer: He isn't a "velcro" cat who shadows your every step, but he is incredibly loving. When he’s decided his exploring is done for the day, he’ll seek you out for attention and curl up right next to you for a long, cozy nap. 💤
Belly Rub Enthusiast: Unlike many cats, Darcy has a secret weakness—he absolutely loves belly rubs! 🐾✨
A Bit Bashful: Darcy is a sensitive soul. Loud noises or sudden "zoomies" from humans can be a little startling for him, so he appreciates a family that moves with a bit of grace (or at least warns him before the vacuum starts!). 🤫

Toy Box: Forget the fancy gadgets; Darcy is all about his soft toys and kicker toys. He loves to grab onto them and give them the "bunny kick" of a champion! 🐇
The High Life: You’ll almost always find him perched at the very top of the cat tree, surveying his kingdom and keeping an eye on his siblings. 🏰

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
