About Marmalade Mike
Meet Marmalade Mike.
The name came first, and thankfully the kitten turned out to match it perfectly. Mike is a young ginger cat with a bright coat, a curious mind, and a very strong belief that the world exists mainly for exploring.
He is the sort of kitten who investigates everything. Shoelaces are clearly snakes. Cardboard boxes are premium real estate. Grocery bags must be climbed inside immediately. If something moves, rustles, or dangles, Mike will be there to inspect it.
He is playful, energetic, and still very much a kitten. That means zoomies across the house, enthusiastic toy hunting, and the occasional attempt to turn ankles into prey. He is also affectionate once he has burned off some energy, and will happily curl up nearby or settle in for a quiet moment after a good play session.
Anyone considering Marmalade Mike should know that kittens need time, patience, and interaction while they grow. Regular play, scratching posts, and a bit of gentle guidance will help him learn the ropes of indoor life. He is still figuring things out and will need someone who enjoys the lively, slightly chaotic stage that comes with a young cat.
In return, Mike offers plenty of personality, daily entertainment, and a lifetime supply of ginger charm. He is curious about everything, fond of people, and very ready to make himself at home.
If you are looking for a companion with character, mischief, and a soft orange coat, Marmalade Mike may well be your guy.
