About Basalt
Meet Basalt,
Basalt is a very handsome boy, who is a little shy at first and can look worried when meeting new people, but underneath is a gentle cat who longs for calm and kindness.
Basalt would thrive in a quiet, adult only home where patience and routine are part of everyday life. With time, a peaceful environment, and a human who understands that love doesn't have to be rushed, he will slowly blossom and show his true, affectionate nature.
Basalt has a very soft, glorious coat that will need regular grooming to keep him looking his best. He also doesn't mind having play sessions so bring out your best feather wand! We are unsure if Basalt would like a friendly de-sexed feline friend but with a slow introduction it may be possible.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
