This sweet, handsome boy is looking for a sunny spot to land and a loving family to shower him with head scratches!
Energy Level: ⚡ Medium (always up for a fun play session, but equally serious about his nap schedule)
Personality: A cute little observer who can be a touch shy at first, but don't let that fool you—once he warms up, he becomes a total cuddle bug who actively seeks out love!
Feline Friends: 🐈 Yes! Baron Marmalade requires a feline brother or sister in his new home. He is not suited for a solo-cat household and loves having another kitty around.
Canine & Kid Compatibility: ❓ Untested with dogs and children, so slow and proper introductions are recommended.
Baron’s Favorite Things:
☀️ Sun-Bathing: You’ll often find him perched on top of his cat tree catching rays, lounging in a comfy chair, or snuggled up in bed.
🧸 Playtime: He loves chasing wand toys, tracking laser pointers, and indulging in his guilty pleasure—crunching on cardboard boxes!
💆♂️ Affection & Treats: Head scratches, tummy rubs (yes, really!), and squeeze/paste treats are the fastest way to his heart.
🪟 Bird Watching: Watching the outside world from a cozy window perch is one of his top daily hobbies.

Baron is a curious, gentle observer who loves exploring anything new or interesting around the house. He doesn't need a super-quiet household, but he'd appreciate a heads-up when the dreaded vacuum cleaner makes an appearance! 🧹❌

Baron Marmalade’s dream home is a relaxed household with at least one other resident cat, where he can peacefully snooze in the sun and get all the tummy rubs his heart desires.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
