About Doug
Doug – 11 weeks old, male 🐾
Doug came into our care after a kind member of the public realised they couldn’t provide the care he needed. He was tiny, had diarrhoea, and although he was still bright, he wasn’t gaining weight like a growing kitten should.
After testing, we discovered this little boy was suffering from feline parvovirus. For such a tiny kitten it was a tough battle, and he quickly started to go downhill.
With lots of TLC from one of our wonderful nurses, the right medications, and a gentle diet to help his tummy recover, Doug slowly began to improve. 💛
We’re so happy to say this brave little fighter has made a full recovery.
Now Doug is thriving! He’s a sweet little chatterbox who absolutely loves his food and isn’t shy about telling you when it’s dinner time. 🐱✨
From a very rocky start to a happy, healthy kitten — Doug has truly shown how resilient these little souls can be.

💡 Tip: Many cats fully recover with no long-term issues, but a sensitive stomach can last a few months. Patience, gentle feeding, and monitoring are key!
