About Barney
Hellloooo ladies and gentlemen! i'm barney, the hunkiest, chunkiest and funkiest guinea pig around! some may call me tubby, but i would like to think i'm well adjusted to the cold winter with a little extra blubber. Oh, and an extra long coat, as i am a sheltie! infact, it's rather embaressing, but i needed a bit of a butt trim when i came to porsche's rescue, after being surrendered to an animal shelter. My fur had been dragging around quite a bit, and was full of muck. But now i'm restored to my full glory, and ready to charm you all! oh yes, more dandelions please. . . Sorry, got a bit distracted there! well, there are a couple of things you should know about me. I do need to come with my best buddy, fred, who you'll see in the second photo. We've been through a lot together, and we really do make a great couple. I would love a home with mature people to care for me, and kids over 8 who know how to properly handle small animals and wont drop or kick me. Like all my small furry friends, we don't like loud noises and would appreciate a comfortable home where fred and i can stay warm in winter, and cool in summer. The people at the shelter are annoyed when others don't consider our emotional needs as animals, so please only apply to adopt if you are willing to give a home to me and my buddy, fred. Like i've said, we've always been together and i rely on him for emotional support, helping me deal with all the changes that have happened in my life (but for goodness sake, don't tell him that! he'll think i've gone soft. . . And not only around the edges if you know what i mean). If you wish to adopt me and fred, please visit www. Porschesrescue. Com and fill in an adoption form today. Hopefully with my awesome hair and chubby cuddliness, it wont be long before i have a new family again!
