Meet Dave. A playful ball of fun, naps and love.
If you’re looking for a youngster who balances play time, biscuit making and naps, look no further.
This ginger tabby will provide the perfect buddy who is happy exploring and napping while you’re out or working, and as soon as you’re done he’s keen for a play and some cuddles. With great biscuit making skills, this gorgeous boy will keep you warm and cozy all day and all night.
Dave will provide hours of entertainment with his hilarious quirks such as his locked in attention to kneading fluffy blankets, his pompom obsession his desire to observe the world from your shoulder/neck and his cute bounding run.. he’s got fur as soft as a cloud and a silky little head ready for pats when cuddle time arrives.
Dave would love another feline friend to play and nap with. Dave also enjoys scheduling in some him time to chill time by himself sitting up in the cat tree napping or staring out the window on his window hammock.
He really is the perfect balance.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
