About Mitzy
Meet Mizy! She's a little shy and anxious at the moment so a patient and lovig owner will be the best remedy and to bring out her true catpanionship. She'll need to be started in a small launch room and allowed time to settle before allowing her to explore the rest of the house: she can become easily overwhelmed in large open spaces. Scratch posts/Cat trees, hides (like cardboard boxes and cat igloos), access to shelves/dressers w9ll all provide ample safe spaces, both high and low, all around the house for Mizy. As already mentioned, we recommend a patient and understanding adopter who can recognize that Mizy will be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before s/he shows her/his true self! Older children/teens are preferrable to little ones as the littlies won't understand cat body language and know to give her space. Cat social-Untested but did come in with another cat and both cats had kittens so may benefit from a kitty friend for confidence. She may be okay in a home with a calm social dog if owners are able to monitor interactions.
