Troy is a young Jack Russell Terrier mix with the sweetest sad eyes and a little chunky body that just makes you want to scoop him up. This gentle boy has had a very sheltered start to life and is still learning to feel safe in the world around him. He can be quite timid at first, but he is slowly gaining trust in people through patience and kindness. Once he begins to feel secure, you can see his soft, loving nature peeking through.

Troy will need a quiet home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. He'll benefit from ongoing trust-building, support with walking on a lead, and gradual socialisation to everyday sights and sounds. Having come from a home with a larger number of dogs, he may enjoy calm canine friends of a similar size with gentle introductions. With time, reassurance, and a steady routine, Troy has all the potential to blossom into a loyal and devoted little companion.
