About Max - 1 Year Old Japanese Spitz
Max is a gorgeous 1-year-old Japanese Spitz with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
Weighing 17kg, this handsome boy is friendly, clever and always excited to see his people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily follow you from room to room and be part of everyday life, Max might just be your perfect match.
Max absolutely loves human company and greets everyone with enthusiasm. He can be a little excitable when meeting people, but it’s simply because he’s so happy to make new friends. With his clever mind and eagerness to please, Max will benefit from continued guidance and routine to help him channel that excitement.
A real social butterfly, Max is very friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company. He would be happy living with another playful dog or as the centre of attention in a home where he gets plenty of love and interaction. Max has not yet been tested with cats, birds or pocket pets.
Max is house-trained and settles well when left home alone, usually spending the time happily snoozing until his people return. When you’re home, he loves to play, interact and be part of the action.
With his beautiful fluffy coat, Max will need an adopter who is committed to daily grooming to keep him looking his best and to prevent matting. Regular brushing will also be a lovely bonding time for him and his new family.
Because of his enthusiastic greetings, Max would be best suited to a home with children aged 6 years and older.
Max is a happy, affectionate young dog who is ready to bring fun, companionship and plenty of tail wags to his forever home. If you’re looking for a playful, social and loyal companion — and don’t mind a bit of daily brushing — Max could be the perfect addition to your family.
Max is in care in Berowra Heights, NSW. His adoption fee is $800 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
