About Pete
I’m an 11.5 yo Pug Jack Russel cross who is looking for his perfect retirement home. I’m a gentle old boy who just wants a human to shower me with all the love and attention I deserve. In return, I will be your shadow. I love sitting beside foster dad watching TV or sitting on his lap. I’m also partial to sleeping on the human bed and would love a home where I can continue to be spoiled rotten.
The humans don’t know anything about my past life. What they know about me from my time in foster care is that I am the perfect gentleman. I currently live with 3 Pugs and a Labrador. I get on great with all of them. I walk well on the lead. I am fully housetrained and I am an expert at using the doggy door.
I am up to date with my shots and have been given the health tick of approval by the vet. I have recently been desexed and had a dental which has enhanced my already gorgeous smile.
If you’re looking for an active dog to chase a ball or go on long walks, I’m not your boy. I am a bit nervous when I see the vacuum cleaner or the leaf blower but otherwise foster Dad hasn’t noticed anything else that worries me. I quickly get over any worries as soon as foster Dad offers me a treat! I love people, but a home with young children is likely to be too much for me.
My ideal retirement wish list:
🐶 Have another small senior dog for company.
👨✈️ My human home most of the day.
🌼A calm, easy going pace with lots of time for cuddles, pottering around the garden and snoozing in a comfy bed.
If you are after a sweet senior with endless love and loyalty to give, Pete might be just the pooch for you.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
