Meet Houston,

Houston is a big, lovable older puppy with an even bigger personality! As you might expect from a large adolescent dog, he is full of energy, enthusiasm, and excitement for life. He's a boisterous boy who loves attention and will thrive with someone who is ready to continue guiding him as he grows into a well mannered adult.

Because Houston is still learning his manners, he will need to go to an experienced dog owner who is confident working with large breeds and committed to ongoing training. With the right guidance, structure, and positive reinforcement, Houston has so much potential to become an incredible companion.

At this stage, Houston will need to be the only dog in the home so he can focus on his training and settling into his new environment. In the future, with proper training and slow introductions, he may be able to socialise appropriately with a doggy friend.

Due to his size and boisterous nature, Houston would be best suited to a home with secondary school aged children or older who are confident and dog savvy.

Houston is looking for a home that will provide him with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and most importantly, patience while he continues to learn. In return, he'll offer lots of love, loyalty, and plenty of goofy puppy moments along the way.
