G’day. I’m Diesel. I’m the handsome bloke you might’ve heard barking at the front gate — but don’t let that fool you. I bark because I’m doing my job. Once you’re inside, I’m the first one in for a cuddle. I love people. Truly. If you’ve got arms, and legs to walk between I’ve got time.
I’m a good boy with good manners. I’m house trained, I sleep outside without a fuss, and I snooze right through the night. When the neighbourhood dogs kick off at 2am, I don’t join in. I’m more of a “keep the peace” kind of guy.
I usually walk calmly on lead — just keep bikes, scooters and other dogs out of my way, please. I do best in calm, predictable walking spots where I can relax and enjoy the smells. I’m a bit hyperalert, but I’m trying hard and I respond beautifully to reassurance and routine.
Speaking of routine… I love one. Tell me when it’s food time, walk time, quiet time — I’ll stick to the schedule like a champion. I sit and wait politely for my meals and at the gate. I like knowing what’s happening next. It makes my world feel safe.
Now, let’s talk hobbies. I chase lizards (they love it, I swear). I chew coconuts. I throw coconuts. I make coconutbased life choices. If you’ve got a yard with a few lying around, I’ll be in heaven.
I’m looking for a home that understands I’m a sensitive soul with a big heart. I’m brave, affectionate, loyal, and funny. If you can give me calm walks, clear routines, and lots of love, I’ll give you everything I’ve got.
